10th Annual White Truffle & Barolo Dinner with Chef Missy Robbins and Winemaker Roberto Voerzio
It’s hard to believe that this year, we will be celebrating our 10th Annual White Truffle and Barolo Dinner! Always an amazing way to usher in the holiday season, our Truffle Dinner is a special time for us at Frasca to enthrall our guests with two ingredients we can’t get enough of.
This year, we are thrilled to be hosting Chef Missy Robbins, owner of red-hot Brooklyn-based restaurant, Lilia. Missy has spent time working all over Italy – from Tuscany to our motherland, Friuli.
After returning to the states, she helmed the kitchens of Spiaggia in Chicago, then moving to New York and serving as Executive Chef of A Voce. In 2010, she was named Food & Wine’s Best New Chef.
Accompanying Chef Missy will be our winemaker, Roberto Voerzio. With the lowest yields of fruit in Barolo, Voerzio’s production is just 4000 cases, which is less than one bottle per vine with his acreage. If there ever was a cult Barolo producer, this would be it!
