Tastemaker Dinner: Paul Wasserman
There may not be a brighter star when it comes to wine minds than importer Paul Wasserman. We are thrilled to have Mr. Wasserman join us for our next Tastemaker Dinner. The Tastemaker dinners are devoted to providing guests with an exclusive evening of getting an insider’s look into the world of wine. Consider these dinners courtside seats.
Paul is the son of Becky Wasserman – one of the first and arguably one of the greatest sources of Burgundy. An American expatriate, she has been living in Burgundy since 1968. Working initially with small domaines and shippers from the region, Becky eventually expanded her portfolio to include many great producers throughout France.
We will be pouring two iconic Loire Valley Chenin Blancs followed by some of our favorite Burgundy producers from the Wasserman portfolio – Simon Bize and Jean Noel Gagnard. The lineup is below:
Pierre Gerbais NV Brut Nature L’Audace, Champagne, France
Guiberteau 2013 Saumur Blanc “Breze”
Nicolas Joly 2013 “Coulee de Serrant
Jean Noel Gagnard 2014 Chassagne Montrachet “Champs Derriere”
Simon Bize 2007 Savigny Les Beaune “Talmettes”
Simon Bize 2014 Savigny Les Beaune “Les Vergelesses”
We hope you’ll join us at this amazing event!
