12/2 Krug x Carrot Dinner
December 02, 2026 06:00 PM until December 02, 2026
Founded in 1843, Maison Krug is a family run estate in Reims defined by absolute dedication to excellence in Champagne. The flagship wine produced by the Maison, its Grand Cuvee, is arguably the best example of any flagship, non-vintage wine in all of Champagne. Hundreds of single vineyard plots are picked and vinified separately prior to being blended along with wines from the cellar’s reserves of vintage wine ranging up to 20 years in age. The apogee of assemblage, Krug’s Grand Cuvee expresses the depth of many sites, several vinifications, and an expansive amount of vintages, resulting in a symphony of layers and complexity.
Building from this incredible wine seems impossible, yet something only the Krug family could. The Vintage Collection reveals vintage champagnes of precise and expressive representations of the season. Krug Rose, now in its 29th edition, is a pinnacle of the category, with intense vinosity and versatility at the table. Finally the two single Clos Grand Cru vineyard bottlings, Clos du Ambonnay and Clos du Mesnil, are two of the most rare, elusive, and iconic wines of Champagne, each expressing the apex of single variety, single vineyard, vintage Champagne from undeniably two of the most prestigious, tiny parcels within the best of Grand Cru vineyards. Across the entire range, every wine produced at Krug is exceptional.
Krug celebrates one humble ingredient every year to pair with the range of their incredible Champagnes. The savour, sweetness, umami and earthiness of the carrot is the inspiration for this year. Chef Ian Palazzola is preparing a creative and inventive celebration of the carrot to pair with a truly special line up of Krug Champagne for a very special, intimate deep dive into the estate, hosted by LVMH Director of Champagne and Sparkling, Sarah Mclaury. Of the wines poured include two vintages of Clos du Mesnil - a rare opportunity for any wine lover.
Due to the nature of this event, all dietary modifications are politely declined.
